About McCarthy Ministries
McCarthy Ministries was founded in February of 2018 by Lori McCarthy after she had a personal encounter with Jesus on September 30, 2017, in which she experienced an open vision that lasted from dusk until dawn the next morning. In the vision, she saw Jesus sitting on a throne talking to two men. All three of them were dressed in glowing brilliant white robes. They appeared to be holding a book and discussing whatever was in that book. (The Book of Life?) She saw war break out in heaven between the heavenly archangels and the “fallen ones,” and watched in amazement as a giant hand formed out of clouds and began to swat the demonic spirits to the ground as if they were pesky little flies!
This all happened on the Day of Atonement, one week after the Revelation 12 sign appeared in the heavens (on September 23, 2017 as seen on the Stellarium program).
She also saw a transparent angel that stood about 10 ft. tall standing next to her in the woods. She was dressed in a beautifully flowing gown of feathery white and was holding two babies in her arms. Although the angel did not speak to her, Lori believes she was a guardian angel. The angel was holding two babies – one in each arm. Lori believes that the two babies were the ones she had lost many years ago – the first one was by choice, a choice that she made when she was twenty-one and that she was truly sorry for and believes that she has been forgiven of, although she has regretted it ever since. And the other one was through a miscarriage right after she and Bill were married.
Lori also heard the sound of a shofar blowing. And it kept blowing, and blowing for what seemed like an eternity! Finally, she saw a vision of the souls of the dead in Christ rising from the earth, followed by the rapture of the church.
In addition, Lori heard a still, small voice in the Spirit that awoke her from a nap after she had been up most of the night. The voice simply said, “It is almost time for Jacob’s trouble to begin.”
Pictured to the right is Lori with her husband of 35 years named Bill. Bill now serves on the Board of Directors along with their daughter, Kristen, and helps out with the ministry when able.
Lori’s Bio: Lori first became a Christian when she was about 10 years old while away at church camp with a friend. However, her family stopped going to church when she was 5 years old. Since Lori didn’t grow up in the church, she lived in a backslidden state for many years. Shortly after she and Bill married in 1988, Lori suffered a miscarriage. It was at that point that Lori realized that she had made some poor choices in her life as a teen and also into her early adult years. She and Bill began going to church. In 1989, Lori rededicated her life to the Lord, and Bill ended up giving his life to Christ as well. Bill and Lori now have two grown children and three grandchildren.
Because of some traumatic things that Lori went through in her past, Lori developed an anxiety disorder at the age of twenty-one. She also developed a voice disorder called abductor spasmodic dysphonia, a neurological disorder for which there is no cure in which the vocal cords to spasm causing a breathy quality to her voice. Suddenly at the age of twenty-one, she was barely able to say her name! However, as time went on and Lori began to walk closer to the Lord her life began to change from one of living in constant fear and anxiety to living a life of faith. Since then, Lori has been set free from her anxiety attacks and now only uses herbs and essential oils to help her decrease stress when needed. Although she still has slight hesitations in her speech, it has improved immensely to the point where it is barely even noticeable anymore.
Then came the fall of 2017. After a time of seeking the Lord in prayer, the Holy Spirit enabled Lori to see in the spiritual realm by giving her open visions and He spoke to her in the Spirit about things to come. Lori believes the Lord has called her for such a time as this to point people to Jesus and tell them that He is coming back very soon! Therefore, Lori has dedicated her life to sharing Christ’s love and forgiveness. She wants other people to know how they too can have a personal relationship with Christ and experience His unconditional love, forgiveness, and acceptance. Finally, she feels called to warn people to get ready, to turn away from sin, and get themselves right with the Lord before the day we all see Him coming in the clouds with power and great glory!
Because of the trauma she experienced during her childhood and young adult years, Lori feels called to help those who are lost and hurting, the brokenhearted, and those who are imprisoned by their own negative mindsets and self-limiting beliefs. She has since become a life coach and spiritual mentor and enjoys helping other women to find their identity in Christ and discover their God-given purpose in life. Lori is committed to sharing the message of hope that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be coming back at any time for his Bride the church before the time of Jacob’s Trouble begins, otherwise known as the 7-year tribulation period. Therefore, Lori has made it her lifelong mission to share the testimony of Jesus until the day we all see Him face-to-face!
